Up till the episode I've seen of Death Note, 2 people besides Light have come in contact with the Death Note.

1. There are gods of death who really try to screw with peoples heads. 2. It's explosively epic. 3. You'd probably find one of the main characters hot. (but she's a complete idiot, so she adds humor to the show)
